About Adventure Divers
Established in 1988, Adventure Divers became a PADI Dive Centre in 1990 and was later awarded the title PADI 5 Star Dive Centre. The
PADI 5 Star Dive Centre rating is awarded, on an annual basis, to
progressive PADI Dive Centres that excel in providing dive consumers with a full
range of diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience
opportunities and that actively promote aquatic environmental awareness. At
Adventure Divers we embrace the PADI System of diver education and are committed to providing
customers with quality products, services and experiences. In 1993 we went on to become a
PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC). This rating not only reflects
our continued commitment to our customers and divers, but also to PADI's Instructor-level
training programs. As a PADI 5
Star IDC, Adventure Divers offers programs to ensure that all divers are able to
fulfil their educational goals,
from entry-level training all the way through to the highest instructor-level
certifications.
Resident PADI Course Director Ray Clark, heads the Adventure Divers Instructor
Team.
Today, Adventure Divers strives to produce safe and confident scuba divers.
We actively support and encourage divers who wish to expand their knowledge
and skills through continuing diver education. Through the Adventure
Divers Diving Society we also arrange and plan regular pleasure diving
weekends, trips and holidays throughout the world, which allow divers to gradually
develop and improve upon their levels of experience. There are also plenty
of social events, giving new members plenty of opportunity to make new friends
and meet future buddies.
Our
Dive Centre (located at 241 Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield) is able to cater for all
of your equipment needs. We carry a full range of diving, snorkelling, technical
diving and underwater photography supplies from world renowned manufacturers

Mission Statement
Adventure Divers a PADI 5 star Instructor Development Centre have been teaching
people to dive since 1988. We have a team of dedicated professional instructors
who have been trained by Ray Clark. PADI Course Director, Ray has been teaching
instructors since 1993. Only those that meet the highest level of standards
teach for Adventure Divers.
Our emphasis is quality divers rather than quantity. We strive to produce safe divers at entry level. We believe experience and continued education will help them to become safer divers.
Bottom time is your bonus and the more time spent in the water will make you a safer diver. We offer additional pool time than most and will maximise your bottom time in open water within safe and comfort limits.
Quality usually comes at price:
(Price) Our time + your experience = Your safety (Quality)

About PADI

PADI (Professional Association
of Diving Instructors) is the
world’s largest recreational diving membership organization. Professional PADI
Members (dive centres, resorts, educational facilities, instructors, assistant
instructors and divemasters) teach the vast majority, nearly 70%, of the world’s
recreational divers, issuing nearly 800,000 certifications each year. PADI
Professionals make underwater exploration and adventure accessible to the public
while maintaining the highest industry standards for dive training, safety and
customer service. PADI is international in scope with service offices throughout
the world. PADI provides members with a full range of educational materials,
training aids, promotional pieces and recognition materials to conduct and
market PADI programs.
The PADI System of diver education is based on progressive
training that introduces skills, safety related information and local
environmental knowledge to students in stages. PADI courses are student-centered
and provide for maximum practice and application. Students learn the basics
through independent study and then are guided through additional development by
their instructors. The goal is to get students in the water as soon as possible
and provide them with the instruction necessary to gain confidence in their
diving abilities. PADI’s entry-level scuba certification is Open Water Diver.
Once certified, divers can continue their education by becoming Advanced Open
Water, Specialty and Rescue Divers. Further training, such as the Divemaster and
Assistant Instructor courses, allow interested divers to become dive leaders.
All PADI programs, entry-level through instructor training,
fall under strict educational standards to maintain worldwide consistency and
quality. PADI takes a proactive approach to quality assurance, with a full-time
department that randomly surveys PADI Divers to monitor PADI programs and to
confirm that they meet PADI’s high standards. This commitment to a strong quality
assurance process helps maintain credibility and continually improve customer
satisfaction. |
